Morgins, a village on the border with the Abondance Valley, forms the link between the Swiss and French areas of the Portes du Soleil domain. In Morgins, the rushing of the water whispers in the ears of the visitors: a source of water containing iron colors the pebbles of the Vièze magnificent and fascinating ocher-red tones, while the waterfalls of the Fontaines Blanches gush out of the earth at 1700 m. Below the Morgins Lake is lined with spruce forests and pastures, a romantic place where it is good to indulge in daydreams or to relax. In addition to these idyllic nooks and crannies, the alpine world is legion. The They valley offers an authentic encounter with one of the most beautiful cattle breeds in the Alps: the Ering cows. They return to the mountain pastures in summer and fight for the hierarchy in the herd with their impressive demeanor and their sense of wrestling. Morgins is also an extensive network of hiking and educational trails, a park for cross-country skiing and an excellent starting point for a long and beautiful day of skiing.
