Dieter wolf

Course setter

Dieter first organized this form of competition in Switzerland in 1976 and founded a tradition that has now been going on for 48 years. As an active orienteer since his youth - and with unbroken enthusiasm as an H70 competitor - he has experience as a course layer, organizer, map taker and trainer. He is aware of his responsibility, especially on this demanding occasion Mountain Marathon with two daily stages and camp overnight, to tailor the courses with their specific requirements to the individual categories.

Sepp Zahner

Partnerships - sponsorship

Thanks to his excellent networking skills, Sepp Zahner maintains valuable contacts with our sponsors. Sepp Zahner maintains long-term partnerships with his basic attitude: 'Everyone is a winner'. This philosophy forms the foundation for our successful collaborations.
His dedication is also reflected in the provision of numerous prizes in kind and a particularly attractive finisher prize. The variety of prizes reflects the appreciation for the participants and helps ensure that every runner, whether on the podium or not, takes home a lasting souvenir.

In his moments outside of the SIMM organization, Sepp Zahner is passionate about supporting people and companies. He creates inspiring spaces, where people can develop their skills, find motivation and further develop their personality. His commitment extends beyond the boundaries of the running event and helps create positive change in the community.

Thomas Wiesner

Safety
Thomas Wiesner is responsible for the safety of our runners. He determines at which posts radio helpers are present during the run. In the event of an accident, they can be used to alert them and they also check whether all teams pass through the post in pairs.

Claudio Caluori

Course setter and Safety

Along with “Lupo”, the founder of KARRIMOR in Switzerland, he is the oldest participant in the OK. He was already on the 1st Karrimor 1976, as a runner at the start over the Hölloch in Muothatal, and was able to win with his partner in his category on the silver. After around 10 events, he moved to the radio patrol team and later took over the radio and security department. Then followed various assignments as railway layer and chief technology officer in the OK, as well as additional functions such as chief transports, start chief, or if necessary even as a rescue assistant in REGA operations. In connection with the KARRIMOR highlights and the participant records, the move from SALEWA to R'ADYS and later to SIMM took place, always accompanied by the position of head of radio and security for many years. The missions with his son Corsin as running leader are unforgettable. Today, due to age, the work is limited to helping with the running concept and the track designs, as well as on the SIMM weekend in the safety resort.

Daniel Vonwiller

Course setter

Daniel Vonwiller, who has been an enthusiastic participant in SIMM for many years, supports the track layer Dieter Wolf, helps with the general organization of the event and is responsible for printing the cards. His great competition pictures help our race to gain media attention.

Stephane Ecoffey

Treasurer

Stéphane Ecoffey has already taken part in SIMM several times with his two daughters and spontaneously took over the position of treasurer.
